  16. PRALINE SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE                        Marianne Evans

  18. 4 cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes (or yams)
  19. 3 T melted butter
  20. 1/3 cup orange juice
  21. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  22. 2 T brandy
  23. 1/2 ts ground ginger (1 T fresh grated)
  24. 1 ts salt
  25. 1/8 ts pepper
  26. 1/4 ts allspice
  27. 1 ts grated orange peel (I'm sure I use more)
  28. 1/2 ts cinnamon

  30. Combine all ingredients. Mix well with an electric beater.  Pour
  31. into a well-buttered 2 qt. shallow casserole.  Spread with praline
  32. topping.

  36. 1/3 cup brown sugar
  37. 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  38. 1/2 ts cinnamon

  40. Combine ingredients and mix until well blended.

  42. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
